A Marklin Mini-Club Z-scale N0. 8896 2-8-2 chassis was used to create a model of the Pacific Coast Railway's 2-8-0 Consolidation locomotive as built by Baldwin between 1904 and 1906. The superstructure was the Aspen Model's RGS #74 kit. The locomotive has a Lenz decoder installed in the tender. The article includes a drawing of the prototype engine.
