James "Rusty" Rustermier of San Jose, California built the S-scale model of D&RGW #51 from brass, silver and 303 stainless steel. The frame was machined from solid brass stock, and the boiler began as a solid round piece, turned down to size, then bored out. Includes one photo of the finished model.
