This is the first issue of the NASG Newsletter. It does not contain stand-alone articles, but rather is just a report of what is going on in the NASG. It was announced that Dick Cataldi is taking over the remainder of president Ed Schumacher's term, and that Ben Wilbur is taking over the remainder of Dick's term as Executive Vice-President. Ken Zieska is working on promoting S, and Ed Loizeaux is working on an S pamphlet. Sig Fleischmann is the Hi Rail Committee chairman, and Tony Beaton is the NASG's standard committee chairman. Announced is the 1978 NASG Convention in Silver Springs, MD. The Treasurer's report is also included.
